Situation:
One of the computer shop here in my place is changing its IT personel for some reasons, I am the one to be replaced. Most online games here needs to be updated/patched because customers are complaining about their log in time were consumed during patches and updates. It will take around 10 or more minutes for the patched to be finished depending on the speed of the internet or the games updates sizes. Ive noticed that the rest of the pc's where configured "shadow mode" doing some research with the help of Mr. Google, that shadow mode is a configuration under a program named SHADOW DEFENDER. A virtual environment which redirects each system change to a virtual environment with no change to your real environment. Just a simple restart will solve pc issues in no time. It is the same to a well known program "Deepfreeze" from Faronics.
Problem:
I need to uninstall or disabled the Shadow Defender to install the updates and patches. But unfortunately the owner of the computer shop forgets the password and the old IT personnel is unreachable at the moment. Asking help from Mr. Google wont get me into something useful information including sending email to the support team of shadow defender they didn't reply. And most forums regarding my problem are mostly not solved. Now I'm forced to used some of my powers its is mostly trial and error and I did this almost a day to solve this issue. So I'm giving you the step by step procedure to save your heated BUTTS out their. :P
1. Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete ( Windows Task Manager ) click "PROCESS"
2. Find "Defender Daemon" or defender (which is the shadow defender program) under Image Name.
3. Select then right click and end its process.Right after reboot your computer and enter SAFE MODE while pressing F8 during start up.
4. On Safe Mode, Go to Control Panel and find the Shadow Defender program and uninstalled it.
5. Then do some cleaning on the registry and delete/remove any links particular to shadow defender. (Search "keyword" shadow defender and delete any results that has to do with shadow defender.
6. On the start up program disable any programs that calls shadow defender ON.
7. Reboot and Congratulation!
MSPAINT - TEXT TOOLBAR MISSING
Your text toolbar disappear suddenly? And unable to change font on your MSPAINT? This might happen when you drag the toolbar at the sides of your desktop. Just try to change your display resolution to 800x600 or higher and after that I'm sure your text toolbar will show up.
New ALT shortcuts for N Tilde (Ññ)
The keyboard shortcut for N tilde or "enye" is ALT+165 for "Ñ" and ALT+164 for "ñ" but there are instances that this wont work for some reasons. Is it the keyboard causing the problem or i heard some update related issues. But if those keyboard shortcuts wont work on you, use this shortcuts keys instead ALT+0209 for "Ñ" and ALT+0241 for "ñ".
Microsoft Windows 7 OEM Reactivation
I had a desktop clone computer and the motherboard needs to be replaced because its faulty. And now I've canvassed for motherboard with same model as my existing so that I can save up the trouble of reinstalling my operating system on the new one and to save time so that I can use my computer immediately. But unfortunately I cant find one, they told me the motherboard I am looking is already phaseout and they suggested buying another newer motherboard. So, then Ive bought another motherboard which they had suggested and I need to buy another processor plus a new memory. Thanks to the fast technology nowadays Ive doubled my expenses! When done mounting my motherboard, processor and memory and turn on the computer, my Windows 7 Pro says I need to reactive my existing copy Windows with in 3 days due to some hardware changes on my computer.
So, I activate it online and it says the product key entered cannot be activated. I tried it a couple of times and I've double check the keys and tried it again but no luck. So, Ive emailed the Microsoft regarding of my problem and got this reply from them.(Ive got this reply after 24 hours of business day as they told me)
The email says, the reason why I cant activate my copy of windows is that its an OEM copy and according to EULA it can only be activated once. So my head start shaking! So Microsoft telling me to buy another operating system? Really? As an alternative, I wanna try to activate this copy through phone and try my luck. And I got the installation id's and call the Microsoft Toll Free 1800-1441-0158 using (PLDT line). After getting the installation id's the Microsoft Automated Voice give me I activate my windows again, but you cannot activate through phone directly without passing through the online activation process so I try to activate it online, and I am surprised my copy of Windows 7 Pro is successfully activated. I do not know what happen but this time Im lucky to activate it. If not i want to try activating it using the installation id's that I got from Microsoft. I think its no longer needed. I've just got lucky this time!

I can't connect to Microsoft website and I cant activate my windows
1. Click start + R a run command will appear then type "services.msc"
2. Scroll down and find DNS Client, right click then
click STOP
3. Then try connecting again to any Microsoft related websites.

Downgrading newly purchased Windows 7 to Windows Xp Pro
1. Install fresh copy of Windows Xp Professional. ( You can use any activated Windows Xp Professional product key )
2. After the installation activate your installed Windows XP professional through telephone.
3. Gather the 54 digit installation id.
4. Email the obtained 54 digit installation id to Microsoft. ( seapa@microsoft.com )
Note: Your email details should contain this.
* your genuine windows xp pro product key (25 digits) ***** ***** ***** ***** *****
* the windows 7 product key you want to downgrade (25 digits) ***** ***** ***** ***** *****
* the 54 digit obtained installation id (54 digits obtained during the activation through telephone)
5. Wait for the reply of the microsoft containing the 42 digit confirmation id then input it on the step 4 of the activation wizard through telephone.
6. Click the next to complete the downgrade process.

The Adobe update could not be started please reinstall application and components
* Fix , run the " Adobe Common File Installer " from the Adobe Photoshop CS2 cd. If ask to download the updates click YES. ( I encounter this error when opening the Adobe Photoshop CS2 and then received this error.)
